Illustrated is the 2012 version. An updated 2013 coaster will be presented upon your entry to the show field on show day. Additional copies of the 2012 and 2013 gifts will be available for sale in the PPG Gate Lodge Gift Shop during the show. Quantities limited.  Last year's collectible trophy awarded for Best in Class is custom-crafted from a laser-etched piston from a 1930's Packard, mounted on a base of oak paneling salvaged from the offices of the Packard Plant on East Grand Boulevard in Detroit. This wood paneling is 100 years old, and was produced at the turn of the century from trees at least 200 years old at the time they were harvested. The authenticity of the components used in these trophies is certified by the Packard Motor Car Foundation. 2013 trophy picture available soon; design and execution will be similar to the 2012 trophy. |
